Skin Care Tips for Teens

Okay so, for this week's blog post, I am going to give you skin care tips for teens. Healthy skin is SUPER important for your health and for your confidence. So, here are some of the skin care tips for teens!
#1: Wash your face at least once a day if not twice. Invest in a good cleanser that doesn't have nasty chemicals in it.
#2: Stay away from junk food. Junk food adds and contributes to acne.
#3: Drink LOTS of water! A well hydrated system will help combat pimples and acne better.
#4: Sleep at least 8 hours every night.
#5: Try not to be stressed. Stress only contributes to problems.
#6: Exercise frequently!
Here are some Do's and Don'ts of teen skin care that I have found effective:
DON'T go to bed with makeup on. Always wash it off before bed.
DO Moisturize your face after washing it.
DO use clean makeup brushes/applicators. Wash them out periodically to prevent bacteria.
DON'T use products that aren't for your skin type.
DO do research on any product you consider putting on your face. Always do research on the ingredients the products contain.
DON'T pick at your skin. EVER. Doing so spreads bacteria all over your face, and also spreads the bacteria you have on your hands all over your face.
