My Thoughts About Dieting and Exercising

So, I've mentioned journaling and such for mental healthiness, now I'm working on getting physically healthy. The past four days, I haven't eaten white sugar, white flour, or any dairy products (I have an intolerance for most dairy products.), and I have been slightly mindful of my carb intake. I haven't followed any specific diet plan other than the four things mentioned before, and I have had amazing results. I have had really bad joint pain for quite a while, and nothing has helped with it and also have a knee injury that still gives me trouble, and I haven't had any pain since I started this. I actually feel better and have slept much better the last couple days, which is saying a lot for me since I don't normally sleep well at all. I also haven't been really hungry either. It doesn't take much for me to get full. Guys, I'm being straight-up with you on all of this. I also don't like to call what I'm doing a "diet", I like to think of it more of a "lifestyle" and that makes me feel much better about it.
Diet

Most of my meals the past few days have been super simple such as smoothies and turkey and a few blueberries. I like the different berries a lot because they don't spike your blood sugar and you can virtually eat as many of them as you'd like without worrying about huge carb content like apples (25 grams per apple,) oranges (11 grams per orange), or bananas (27 grams per banana). Whereas strawberries only have 11 grams of carbs per 1 cup serving. If you were wanting to do something that doesn't really have a plan, what I'm doing is great, but you can always tweak it for yourself and your lifestyle.
Exercise

As for my exercise, I haven't really done anything the past couple days because my life has been so crazy but I'm wanting to try something like these:
4 Minute Workout That Replaces 1 Hour In The Gym by Bright Side on YouTube
Something like this would be wonderful for me since my life is so crazy busy, so I don't have much time at all to actually work out every day.
6-Minute Yoga for Better Abs by Get Healthy U

Just a quick FYI: Pinterest is amazing for finding different workout ideas and plans! This exercise looks great for me since I actually like doing ab workouts, and it's not too terribly hard/long to do.
I'm going to try both of these exercises (and some other ones) and tell you my favorites in a later blog post.
I made soft and more upbeat Christian and Secular playlists. Feel free to click the link and listen as much as you'd like! And also, if you have any songs you'd like to request for me to put on the playlists, let me know! :)
Goodbye for now,
Kyra :)
