" O come, let us sing unto the Father: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation."-Psalm 95:1
Okay, so, I was having a bit of a brain lapse today trying to figure out what to post about, and I found a site that had blog post ideas. One of the ideas was posting my Spotify playlists. I have created two playlists specifically to post today. One is my favorite secular songs and the other is my favorite Christian songs (I'm sure I've accidentally left some out so please forgive me!)
Here's the link to my Christian Spotify Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/user/213ia3grdok556mia633vlnoi/playlist/6yuA50O3fOKGp67sAhyc3a

Music is amazing. I don't know what I would do without it. I can listen to it when I'm mad, sad, happy, or excited (just to name a few of the emotions that I have ;) ) There are so many good songs out there. I suppose I'll use right now to share some of my beliefs regarding music. (Why not?) :) So, some people who believe the way I do believe that you aren't supposed to listen to secular music at all, but at this point in time, the Father has not convicted me that I don't need to be listening to secular music as long as it's appropriate and doesn't directly go against what the Father says (getting drunk, doing inappropriate things, discrediting the Father in their songs, etc.) I listen to a whole bunch of different music: some country, pop, contemporary Christian, rap (mostly Christian) and other types of music. That being said, I don't agree with all Christian music either. Some of it has a lot of wacky theology so I'm careful about what Christian music I listen to as well. But it all depends on what the Father has convicted you of.
Goodbye for now,
Kyra :)
