It's Been Awhile

You guys, I know it's been a while. About three months, to be exact! This year has been crazy for my family and I (and it's only April!). My grandmother passed away the 12th of February, my great-grandmother fell and broke her wrist February 14th, and she's needed around-the-clock care since, so we've been with her a lot, not to mention all of the 5 million other things we have to do. On top of all of this, mom is trying to start a business, and the girls and I have school. I had a crazy and traumatic experience last Thursday (it's too long to share in this post.), and got sick the day after. So yeah, this year has been crazy!

There have been bad things that have happened this year, but there HAVE been some good things that happened or will happen. I babysat for almost-strangers for the first time, QuizBowl practices start up next week (exciting, but still kinda scary!), and we have State in June. I started a Spanish class, I get to observe a homebirth in July, and I'm trying to save up money for my Doula Certification.

You guys, the Father is so good! Even when times are tough, he's still there. Always. He loves us so very much. I know that through the hard, or tough, or scary times, I can always lean on my Heavenly Father.

Sorry this post is so short! I'm working on some cool topics that I hope to write about soon! I just wanted to catch you guys up a little.
