Okay, so, I have been kind of obsessed with smoothies for awhile. I enjoy experimenting to make them and get something wonderfully yummy out of it. I actually made this smoothie today when I got up for my sisters, mom, and I, and everyone seems to like it. (By 'seems to' there isn't any left.:)) So, here is my recipe for my Banana Berry Smoothie!
You'll Need
2 Cups of Ice Cubes
1 Cup of Frozen Mixed Berries (You could use fresh blueberries but if you did, you would need to add extra ice to get the right texture for your smoothie)
1 Cup of Frozen Blueberries (I added extra blueberries because I love that extra blueberry flavor)
2 Splashes of Liquid Stevia Extract
1 1/2 Cups of Almond Milk
1 Banana
1/2 Cup Spinach or Kale (optional)*
*Note: You could add 1/2 Cup of spinach or kale if you'd like. We usually use spinach, but we didn't have any today. If you add spinach or kale add a bit extra almond milk. :)
Directions:
1: Add half of your ice to the blender and crush it.
2: Add the other half of your ice and then crush that as well.
3: Add your berries and 1/2 C. of almond milk.
4: Add your banana and spinach or kale (optional) and add another 1/2 C. of almond milk.
5: Add stevia.
6: Add the rest of your almond milk as you continue to blend your smoothie. You may have to stir it every once in a while.

This served four of us and we didn't have any left over. You can tweak it as you want/need to. Enjoy!
Goodbye for now,
Kyra :)
