Okay, so, I love writing, and sometimes it's nice to have help starting out your work. Here are some Writing Prompts that I have come up with AND ones found from different people. (I'll credit the sites/blogs after the prompts.) P.S. I put all of these into a list as a PDF. Go down to the bottom of the screen for the free Writing Prompts PDF! :)
#1: Your character wears a piece of jewelry to remind them why they keep fighting for their cause. What is it and where did they get it? (marismckay.com)
#2: You have been completely color blind your whole life and only see in shades of grey. You come across a stranger that appears in total color. (shareasimage.com Jessamine1031)
#3: The flames licked across my skin. Why had I followed Michael into this tomb? I was a fool for doing so. Now I was going to die. (Me)
#4: "You know I'm not actually a princess, right Daniel?"I said with a thoughtful look on my face. Daniel raised his eyebrows at me. "But you are the princess though." "No I'm not, I am a warrior who is destined to save my people from the evil dragon." Ireplied. "You read too much, my lady."Daniel replied "Of course I do." I replied with a smile. (Me)

#5: Describe the same character twice. Once to fall in love with them, then again to be repulsed by them. (shareasimage.com)
#6: The lights go out for five seconds. When they turn on again, you see a note stuck to your window. It says one word. "Run." (shareasimage.com)
#7: The notes from the guitar rang beautifully from the musician (who was actually a spy). The guests watched in awe as the song went on. All of a sudden, a long arrow stuck out of the guitar. "Well, dang it." the spy said to herself. (Me)
#8: The keys of my keyboard on my computer clicked incessantly. I had to get this story written before midnight. At midnight, everything would change. (Me)
#9: His eyes were cold and lifeless as he started at me. "You have no idea who I am, do you?"(www.worldsmyths.com)
#10: People must not look outside at night from 3:00 A.M.- 6:00 A.M. Children are often kept in windowless rooms and adults often wear blindfolds during sleep to avoid incident. (shareasimage.com)
I hope you've enjoyed these!
